International award for new creative talent in animated design.
Students and recent graduates (max. three years into a career) of all film schools, academies, workshops, technical colleges and universities worldwide are welcome to enter the annual ompetition for the international Hamburg Animation Award. The submission deadline is 2 May 2016.
The expert jury will nominate the best animated short films (max. 10 minutes) using any animation technique (2D, 3D, puppet animation, stop motion, etc.) for one of five prizes with a total value of EUR 11,000. The nominated student and alumni projects will be presented at the award gala in Hamburg, Germany on 22 June 2016.
