The Bologna Children's Book Fair's TV and Film Rights Centre was started in the 2003 in an effort to make it easier for two important elements of children's publishing -- trade book publishers and audiovisual professionals -- to work together and to sell and buy copyrights. In constant evolution, the Centre now includes: a year-round online service, where TV and Film professionals can access a constantly-updated list of visual rights available from leading children's publishers and literary agents exhibiting at the Bologna Children's Book Fair and add their own descriptions of intellectual property they wish to offer to Bologna Children's Book Fair participants. The wide meeting area is in a central location of the Bologna Children's BookFair, strictly connected with the Literary Agents Centre, with full business services.
