CURATORIAL STATEMENT.
Often in our image saturated lives good design is overlooked. Artists who's days are spent designing and selling everything from toothbrushes to t-shirts, websites to watermelons are rarely recognized for their art. They hone their skills and creativity on the company dime, conceptualizing their personal projects and waiting for the moment when they can create without care of the bottom line.
The Art of Design was curated with the intent of showcasing Designers as Artist. Providing them the space to paint pretty pictures. The Art of Design will also provide the perfect backdrop for BD4D being hosted by PUNCH GALLERY June 6th.
