Art By Chance is the brand new "Ultra Short Film Festival" that will be aired in May 2009 all around the world. Films will meet with us unexpectedly in 10 countries: U.S., U.K., Canada, Italy, France, Belgium, Qatar, Turkey, Netherlands, Germany and 55 cities. New ones are added to the list every day.
Besides its global dimension, Art By Chance is also unique because the selected short movies will be presented to the public through the advertising screens instead of movie theatres. ART BY CHANCE will present urban dwellers with stimulating content thus coloring the time slices that are usually considered dead.
Enthusiastic and creative international film makers will be preparing films up to 30 seconds long, with "journey" as the theme; fiction, animation, documentary and video art with the exception of training and advertising films.
Art By Chance is currently partnering with many digital advertising network operators throughout the world. With these partnerships Art By Chance will realize a revolutionary event allowing art to meet millions of people around the world. The best festival entries will be selected by a jury and will be screened on digital advertising screens located inside metros, buses, railways, public transportation terminals, shopping malls and airports.
