Reaching out to the new generation of animators.Whitespace Studio at Kingston University is holding a conference on animation and special effects, aimed at industry and educators. The event is being hosted by Shelly Page, European representative of DreamWorks skg, and will have representatives from many of the UK leading animation an post production companies, such as The Frame Store, The Moving Picture Company, Beryl Productions and Rushes.We will be looking at where the next generation of animators will come from and what they will need, to get from here to there. The agenda includes presentations, workshops, discussion panels and screenings by and for industry leaders and European educational institutions most interested in animation, and students, present and future.The conference is being held in Kingston Upon Thames on the edge of London, close to the heart of the UK post production industry.
We welcome and encourage people to submit animations for the screenings.
