Anilogue International Animation Festival

Anilogue is an annual international animation festival taking place in Budapest, Hungary and Vienna, Austria. The festival presents a whole week of animation, packed with feature premieres, sneak previews, workshops, a competition of European animated short films and numerous special programs including a seven hour-long animated show, concerts and cartoon exhibitions.

In the past, numerous world and national premieres have been celebrated on Anilogue, including PERSEPOLIS by Marjane Satrapi, THE DISTRICT! by Aron Gauder, PAPRIKA by Satoshi Kon, THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME by Mamoru Hosoda, RENAISSANCE by Christian Volckman and many more.

The official competition of the festival is open for European animated short films with a maximum length of 20 minutes. Films produced after January 1 in the year prior to the festival are eligible for entry. There is no entry fee.
