I am a college student and animation enthusiast applying for a fellowship to take place in summer 2017. The Watson Fellowship provides funds for graduating students to study the topic of their choice. Since my passion is animation, that is my intended focus. I'm looking for non-American (or Americans living and working in other countries) working in the animation business or academics who study it to interview and possibly shadow next year. My focus is "animation as a global product." I want to examine the multiple creative influences that go into content creation as well as the multiple facets of behind-the-scenes work.
