Hi there,
I would like to know if someone can explain what a camera layout is and how it differs from not doing the 'camera layout'. The reason is I was corrected a layout assignment in which I inserted a character with a camera in her hands. Said camera was too far to be distinctly recognised, and I was told to redesign the picture by creating a 'camera layout', so that the elements were supposedly closer to the screen. I don't know if this makes sense to me... Is it simply zooming in a portion of the layout?
Thank you
Camera View Layout. Camera View layout allows you to view multiple camera views at the same time
The first benefit of performing a camera layout is that it provides a realistic representation of the camera's field of view. Often, even seasoned designers make the mistake of picturing the FOV as a cone capturing everything in front of a camera.
