Animation opportunities in the UK.

Hello everyone!

My name is Jack Sheppard and I'm an aspiring 2D animator from the UK! (London to be exact.) I've been looking for about a year and a half now and though I've managed to secure a couple of internships and a number of smaller freelance projects I haven't had much luck securing a stable studio job.

I have a set of websites that I peruse (including Animatedjobs.com, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Totaljobs and Animationbase.) and I regularly check google for interesting studios to cold call, but I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any animation-based recruitment agencies or any jobs boards that I could look into? If there are any animation festivals/events that I could bring some CVs to that would help out a lot too. 

I have a working knowledge of a variety of adobe programs including photoshop, flash, after effects and premiere pro. I also have experience in the use of toonboom and in character design, storyboarding and video editing.
