Tools and dreams! Advice

Hello everyone!

OK so I can't and won't attend college since I can't financial aid ( I actually can't receive it because my mom has irs problems)

So..I;m learning everything ( I hope) from deviantart and conceptart) and youtube.

I also read info and learn from other websites like cartoonbrew, here, and some other animation blog.

I want to, like millions of others, want there own tv show and want to be the next big thing. I want to be able to produce 2d animation.
I also am interested in scriptwriting for animation and music for animation.( By the way do I need a degree for those last two?)

SO..I have also books that I'm using to learn two and I'm going to list them and I'm asking what other books should I get?

-Writing for animation
-Illusion of Life
-Plot and Structure
-Anatomy made amazingly easy
-From Pitch to Production
-Mastering Manga with Mark Criley ( Just for a different style and perspective)
-Timing for animation
-Drawing Concepts
-The new drawing from the right side of the brain

Also, do I need to buy a tablet even though I'm not at a very experienced level yet?

Where would I be able to find a mentor?

Reading is ok but are you drawing?

Reading is ok but are you drawing?

Yes I do! I try at least every other day. It takes a lot out of when I finish though.

Re animation: Animation tutorials can be purchased online, e.g. Brian Lemay or Jason Ryan, etc. Not cheap, but not horribly expensive either.

Re drawing: One of my first assignments in animation school was to make 200 drawings, in a sequence, with audio. And after that, 3-hour drawing classes become a walk in the park :D Do lots of 30-second gesture drills as well as the more polished stuff.

I wouldn't worry too much about music, unless you really wanted to animate your own music videos :) It's important though to be clear on what you want your animation to sound like; if you can't do it yourself, you can find someone who can, but you will need to direct them.

As to cinematography, there's no easy answer. It's so obvious to me now, but a lecturer had to point out that cameras don't stay still for very long. Definitely watch lots of films, live action and animated, and see how they go from one sequence to another.

If you have the funds for a tablet, get one! Saves you scanning a bajillion drawings :D

Thanks

Your goal is very clear .and your are very awesome .but the creation animation need to do more practice .

Happy life can't apply colours to a drawing of the render farm !
