Hey there, Wontobe, I interviewed more than 100 different artists and technicians as part of the research process for the book, so - even though I'm bound to say this - it ought to function as more than a coffee table book although, thanks to the generosity of the various different studio archives and private collectors who allowed original artwork to be included, it does certainly work as a showcase for some truly astonishing design and draftsmanship. In addition to a detailed Index, there is also a unique and (I hope) exhaustive Glossary of Terms for those students who may not be quite so familiar with the vocabulary or the processes of "traditional" animation production.
