Anyone Enchanted?

I saw Enchanted on Friday and was pleasantly surprised. And that is saying something because I'm usually such a cynic, especially about movies. But I left the theatre smiling and humming the catchy tunes. Odd.

Here at school, everyone is a tither about this movie. Have you guys seen it? What did you guys think?

This is what I have to say about the animation. In the trailers, it looks a bit strange to me. In the actual film, it's not as noticeable, but the trailers make it look so..... "bouncy" or overanimated. And I don't' know if that was on purpose (it is a tongue in cheek film about animated stereotypes) or not.

Maybe my tastes are unrefined, but I liked what I saw from the animation in the trailers. Anyway, I like the concept of the self-depricating humour, and actually can't wait to see it. Looks like a fun movie. :)

Well, while it was very cute of Disney to permit some small amount of real animation in their latest live-action feature, I'm simply not inclined to pay a full-ticket price for only a quarter of an animated movie. I'll save my pennies until they make a proper feature-length cartoon.

It looks like a fun movie. I'm going to try and see it this week. Maybe it's just me, but something about seeing Cyclops bursting into song every chance he gets is funny to me.

Cyclops bursting into song? Go rent Hairspray. He's hilarious as Corny Collins.

Yeah, but he's not in tights. :D Nah, I'd rather watch the original Hairspray anyway.

I feel so culturally unenlightened. I've only seen the remake. But I thought it was really good.
