What are you thankful for?

Everybody seems to be buzzing about cooking and travelling for this Thursday, but I think the Career Coach has the right idea with her article. What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for my family and friends, for scraping by in today's economy (gas is high!) and for being in fairly good health.

I'm really thankful for all of you guys. Thank you for being a community that I can visit and comment and vent. Thank you for setting me straight many times. Thank you for opening my eyes and teaching me. Thank you for being friends.

I am thankful for my family: my wonderful wife and my beautiful 21-month-old daughter.

I am thankful that I get to work in the movie industry for a living.

I am thankful that my feature film debut as a director, Lost Mission, was just picked up for distribution last month and will be coming out on DVD across the country in a few months.

I am thankful that there is only one year left in the disastrous Bush administration.

I am thankful that I live in the US of A.

I am thankful for feta cheese on pizza.

Beer..................

Beer..................

I am with you and that I was finally able to get a new water pump in my truck. Got tired of having to put water in before every trip and only going a limited amount of miles. It was a bitch but it's done now. And I couldn't have done it without a promise of a beer at completion.

My thanksgiving was a month and a bit ago, but what am I thankful for?

Well, I just found out today that a project I was hoping would get a second season was axed, likely due to the rise in the Cdn dollar. Another two projects haven't gotten back to me, and its looking like they will not. So those kicks to the head are not something to be thankful for, but I'm not going to distress about them. Much.

I AM thankful for a lot of things.
I'm thankful for my health, my wife and circle of people around me.
My home, hobbies, and skills.
I'm thankful because, as a door closes, another door or window opens, and my glass is half full. I don't just spout those sayings blindly, I've been through enough turmoil to know that life, like anything, cycles.
I'm grateful for the industry I work in, even though it can treat me indifferently at times.
I'm thankful for the times I live in, and the world I was born to.
I am thankful to my Creator and all the blessings that have been bestowed me.

I am thankful for too many things to list on a forum post. :P

It's a bit odd of a thread for me to see, as Canadian Thanksgiving was last month.

But uh, Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday. Turkey, for one. Another, a reminder to just thank God. Simple in a way. But I think a person should be thankful all year. Not just for one day.

I'm thankful that the holidays only come once a year.

You see, I live by one of the busiest malls in the area... my commute actually increases exponentially from November 1st through December 25th.
