I am currently writing a school paper on women in the animation and gaming industries. I am looking to talk to anyone that has an opinion on the jobs for a woman: i.e. Where jobs might be located? Whether it is easier or harder to get a job in the animation or gaming fields for a woman than a man? What is considered and needed for the job? Who would have to work harder - a man or a woman? or are the 'difficulty' levels the same for both? Are there feminist issues? How many women are in the animation and/or gaming fields vs. the number of men? Or anything else pertaining to something related to the afore-mentioned subjects. Anything that anyone can give me would be absolutely wonderful and helpful.

As far as gaming is concerned, try gamasutra.com, I think they have articles covering the topic. They have salary surveys, these should give you some information in regard to remuneration.
