You are right. I apologize to all of the members I accused of lynching you. You clearly are seeking attention with your little comments all over and then the pretending that you are dropping things and a better person.

As for one member , I assure you, that you had (have) no bearing on how I feel towards him. I would have him on my ignore too but I was hoping instead of remarking on here he would write me privately with unrelated remarks (such as stupid songs). It's apparent that he still won't so I will add him back. Sorry I'll miss your next song.

Anybody who has a problem with Dark Angel needs to simply add him to their ignore list, as I have also done.

Really...is this forum NOT more so meant to BUILD relationships, mentor people, support one another and establish a friendly community?

Is anyone else out there in the community getting tired of the "forum mob" who think their personal role is to insult, slander, or attempt to bring shame on fellow creative minds?

How about you stop the noise and lets get back to the purpose of this forum. to network, support, train, mentor, promote and just be there for each other.

I'll preface this by saying I agree, and realise that I should relax and ignore the non-animation threads. But how about instead of insulting ("debate nerd") you post a question, opinion, or thought on animation instead? Don't contribute to the noise and we'll all eventually calm down.

Of all the threads currently on the first page, only two have nothing specific to do with animation (including this one). Whatever your opinion on inter-personal relationships on this site, it's pretty obvious that the bulk of the conversation that takes place here centers around animation.

Yes, there was some super-heated rhetoric flying around recently. It's also the exception, not the rule. Generally we all get along pretty well here. Don't take the few threads where some vehement opinions were exchanged and extrapolate it into an indictment of this board or it's members.

This is the cafe, where more or less any topic is allowed. If you want a forum like some of the MSN groups where only niceties can be exchanged I suggest you join one of those. Most of the debates that go on here are reasonable, and personal attacks are kept to a minimum, but posers will be confronted. If these bother, don't take part in them. And no one forces anyone to open a thread.

Well, i'd have to say that I love debate, especially the heated kind. Thats when you can really see the other side of the aisle on issues... when the exchanges get emotional.

However, that's where we should draw the line. Getting personal with the debate is really childish. Save the drama for your mama and for any animation or art related issues.

I put that little guy on my ignore list after reading the first couple posts he made. The Ignore List option is a real time-saver!

I agree. I don't think anything is wrong with a debate, even if it is a little heated at times. Just about everyone here will remain calm, or at least calm down in a little bit, and the people who don't don't usually stick around too long.

There's nothing wrong with disagreeing, especially if in the course of the disagreement you and the people you are disagreeing with can manage to learn something from it (do you disagree? :p) . They may never fully agree, but they may at least have a better understanding of the other side of the argument. That's usually the case here.

I! shall now voice my opinion, you are in fact correct as to the slander that have occured recently in these forums, the dabate however personal, was in fact.......resolved.
I was not at all ashamed of the comments that any of you "pitched" against me, because I know who I am and none of you can ever break me down.

Dude, I wrote before "sort of" defending you. I mean, I wasn't defending the lying but didn't agree with the lynch mob.

Agreed. Most people in the show and tell forum have no interest in the debates and discussions typical to this forum and stay in the Show and Tell section for a reason. No need to drag them into our quarrels.
