Heyas. Well, after lurking in the shadows for the past month or two, I thought it'd be nice to join in on the fun. There's some incredibly impressive artists here, no doubt about that. I tip my hat to yas (if I had one, anyway.)

Moving on, I could draw a scribbled-together poodle and my friends and family would ooh and aah over it, so it'd be great to get feedback from folk who really know what to look for :p

Let me know what you think, improvement is the name of my game right now. Thanks :)

These are some character sketches I've tossed together recently...

Uh huh

Hmm, I'll keep the Schminke's in mind, thanks Laurence, and that's some nice info you've got on your page. I love my paper, just the way it had horizontal lines going down the paper wasn't expected.

Powerglove, thanks, maybe I will join in on the next challenge :) I had actually sketched a picture for this horror theme, but I ended up scrapping it.

Rozzco, you're absolutely right. If you look at all of my pictures, they all have small feet... thanks for the heads up, haha. Maybe I have a subconscious fear of big feet? :p

Uh... not quite sure what happened to that last pic to make it want to go Supersize :P Oh well.
Here's two more, the first is actually one of my characters in City of Heroes. The colored pencil one was my first real attempt to use the medium, unfortunately I decided to do it on paper made for charcoal.

heh! it can be a turn off especially on girls if they have big feet :D haha i also have to say the second last picture , the women with the two swords, she doesn't look very slicy dicy, maybe a more " im gonna cut you up and eat youre heart " pose with the swords could make it look amazing :D she looks really good just now but just could look a little more "in action" :)

Rozzzzz. . . . . keep going drawing :D

Faces!

Hello again. So, the guy was actually drawn two years ago, sketched from a photo- my first attempt ever to really draw a face. And the penciled girl is from... eight months ago I think, over the summer, and drawn purely from the mind's eye. It was a big step for me, hehe :) The charcoal drawing of a friend is more recent.
I'd really like to, ya know, get into animation, so lately I've been working on a short storyboard, for a kinda music video sort of thing. I'd like to put up character sheets and whatnot and get some feedback on those. Sometime next week.

Ah it's been so long since I've been able to just sit and create :)

Well, I've been trying to improve my photoshop coloring skills, here's a makeover for the girl with a gun. Cut off her ugly legs, hehe.

Currently painting a full scene and finishing a portfolio for college acceptance, plus I'm still determined to get to my animation, too... so many projects :\

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure what that was. I had used paper from a sketchpad of "Strathmore Charcoal" paper. It makes for good paper, usually.

Do you have any suggestions on some good coloring supplies? Maybe to give more of a comic book feel? I always did wonder what they used in comics.

On a somewhat related topic, here were my first attempts to use photoshop to color.

Thanks for the input :)
