seeking student animators!

Studio Alchemy is a group of students creating a Mac title. The entire game is hand drawn, and will have a storybook feel. We are currently looking for talented character animators to collaborate on this exciting endevor. check out our site for more details, as well as all of our conceptual illustrations.

we are writing our own engine. Our engine programmer is from a Mac background, so porting is not a matter of the coding software.

i think you guys are doing something real cool. i wish i could help but it would be hard to do anything pro bono.

good luck.

Interesting idea. Will you be porting it to any other platforms?

Poetntially, although it is primarily a Mac title. The mac market is more receptive to indy titles, and our engine programmer has mac industry ties.

I would like to see it on all platforms, but it will probably prove impossible.

Too bad. I'd like to try it out (PC/Linux guy). Oh well, I can't have everything.

Good luck! It's a cool idea.

It is likely that what ever program you are using for your game can be ported over to PC and Linux. You will have to shell out a few more dollars but it is my understanding that all of the programs that can be used on a Mac can be ported to PC. RealBasic has this feature, but like I said, you have to buy the pro package.

Hey Vantrum, this project looks really cool! I saw the posters for it at Monty and seriously wish I could help. Sadly, Larry's classes keep me extremely busy. Perhaps I can join the group later, if thats possible.
