welcome!

Welcome to The Animation Co-op discussion forum! Big thanks to Dan Sarto and our friends at AWN for hosting. :-)

Founded in 2003 with chapters in ten states and hundreds of members worldwide, the Animation Co-op is a non-profit network of artists & animators dedicated to the cooperative support of independent animation production. The Co-op facilitates the creation of independent animated ventures by serving as an informal hub of association, resource sharing, collaboration & critique. Co-op forums include an online database, social events and educational outreach.

Our website is located at www.animationcoop.org. Come check out the FAQ, subscribe to our mailing list (for announcements of upcoming events and new projects), and feel free to link from our "sites" page and submit your work to the online Co-op database. It's free, and it works!

That it did. :)

We're currently looking into assembling a panel discussion by folks who have taken indie animation projects from start to finish. This will ideally take place in a larger public forum. Stay tuned for details as they come forth.
