Director Russell Drops Out of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

David O. Russell has dropped out of Sony's adaptation of the PS3 game UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE, reports Variety. The reason is being reported as creative differences. Russell was also set to rewrite the script from Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer. The studio is still looking for a scribe to rework the script.

Review: 'Kung Fu Panda 2'

Well, I guess it was too much to hope for, lightning striking twice in a row. (Then again, Pixar was able to pull it off to the third power with its Toy Story iterations.) But to put it bluntly, Kung Fu Panda 2 is no Kung Fu Panda. No, it’s not bad, it’s just that if KFP was a home run with two men on base, KFP2 is a double – a solid double nonetheless, maybe even drove in a run, but still a double. (Make that a triple if you’re not as much in love with Kung Fu Panda as I am.)

Relativity's Snow White Casts Dwarves

Relativity Media has closed deals with Mark Povinelli (Water for Elephants), Jordan Prentice (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), Danny Woodburn (Watchmen), Sebastian Saraceno (Bedtime Stories), Ronald Lee Clark (Epic Movie), Martin Klebba (Hancock) and Joey Gnoffo (Pirates of the Caribbean series) to play the Seven Dwarfs in its upcoming untitled Snow White feature, directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals, The Cell).
