In this two-part interview, Aardman Animations’ co-founder and creative director, Peter Lord, discusses the studio’s 40-year history spent creating a prolific slate of funny and immensely popular animated films, TV series, shorts and commercials, as well as its current efforts in film, TV and VR production.  Peter also talks about opportunities for smaller independent animation producers and what is so inherently compelling about being on set watching stop-motion animation being produced.

In addition, he shares his insights on how the studio evaluates and finds talent as well as how he views the role of colleges and training programs in preparing young professionals for jobs in the animation industry.
