Animasyros is collaborating with the Annecy Festival for this year's edition of the Market and gives the opportunity to a project to travel to France to the most important commercial event in the area of Animation!
Extension of submission of proposals until 15.07.2020
Possibility of digital participation in the Market in Syros.
As part of its partnership with the Annecy International Animation Festival, Animasyros 13 is expanding its market and inviting animators around the world to submit their projects by July 15, claiming a place in the Pitching Forum as well as in the special preparation workshop in Syros, or by physical presence or digitally.
Specifically, focusing on the special conditions prevailing around the world, the projects under development that will be selected can be presented to the international committee, either in the physical presence of the creator or digitally, through a special platform, giving all animators the opportunity to participate without spatial restriction. Respectively, the selected animators will be able to participate digitally to the 4-day pitch coaching workshop of MIFA-Animation du Monde, which will be led by Géraldine Baché, Head of Projects, Mifa and Producer Corinne Destombes of the French animation studio Folimage.
The workshop will take place on September 23-26 in Syros during the Festival. The Pitching Forum will take place on September 26, and 27, and the winner of the best pitch will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Festival.
The project that will be selected at the Pitching Forum Agora in Syros will be found as an official participation in the Annecy Festival 2021 and will be presented at Mifa pitches in front of an audience of more than 200 professionals. The MIFA - Animation du Monde section is the largest global trade event in the field of Animation.
This collaboration as well as all the other activities organized by the Agora (round tables, master classes, meetings, animation workshops) give the opportunity to the international public that deals professionally with the art of animation, or simply loves this art, to expand their network, to promote their work, to meet with decision makers, to discover the international community and to see the hits of tomorrow.

- A brief description (Logline, Concept) and necessarily a Treatment
- Trailer desirable
- In case of absence of trailer then stills, sketches, moodboard are necessary for the evaluation of the project.
