Time to participate!

Dear friends, dear animation lovers, we are here to inform you about not one or two, but three open calls that you may take part in!

All of the details can be found below:

1. Our friends from IFCC are inviting all aspiring artists or designers interested or working in the entertainment industry to participate in the 2017 edition of "The Game Challenge", where they will be reinventing Earth, biology, technology and the future of living in space. You should submit the ideas for characters (humans, half-humans, mech), vehicles and environments to partake in populating one of the largest creative open spaces in the industry. Of course, there are a few guidelines to follow.

And what about the prizes? IFCC teamed up with SIXMOREVODKA studio who are giving away IFCC 2017 tickets to 15 participants whose designs get the highest scores. Additional prizes include 3 paid accommodations (one for each category) for your stay in Zagreb during this year's IFCC festival and all the benefits of the Mortal Membership for a full year for 9 highest scoring participants. 

The challenge is ending on Wednesday, 19th of April 2017 (Midnight PST) so make sure you don't miss the deadline.

2. If you are more into site-specific animation, we invite you to participate in our Animation goes MSU! programme. As a continuation of successful collaboration launched in 2012, Animafest Zagreb, in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (MSU), we announced a Public Call for three-channel site-specific animations to be displayed on MSU’s media façade. You can apply HERE.

Be careful not to miss the deadline as it is slowly approaching - the entry should arrive at MSU’s address by 22 March, 2017.

And last but not least:

3.The fourth edition of Symposium for Contemporary Animation Studies Animafest Scanner IIII will be held on 06 - 07 June 2017, during the 27th edition of Aimafest Zagreb, and you can apply HERE. This year the topics are ranging from The Changing Roles of Festivals, Comic and Animation, Animation in the Mind to the New Media Animation - VR and the Web. 
Submission deadline: 1 March, 2017.
