You will see The Chaperone at an animation festival near or far from you. Here's the trailer...
I would be quite surprised if you don't see this film at many animation festivals in 2014.
The Chaperone 3D is a short film produced by Thoroughbread Pictures. It tells the true story of a lone teacher who was chaperoning a middle school dance in 1973 Montreal, when a menacing motorcycle gang invaded it. The Chaperone 3D recreates the scene using hand drawn animation, miniature sets, puppets, live action Kung Fu and explosions all done in stereoscopic 3D. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was the runner up for the best short film award, was selected as one of "Canada's Top Ten" short films produced in 2013, and was recently selected to compete in the Slamdance Film Festival, taking place in Park City, Utah in January 2014.
