The Festival International du Film d'Aubagne is a film festival which highlights composers and soundtracks as well as directors! Animation plays a big part in their selection, and there is now a Call For Entries for both short and feature works.
Short Film Competition
The registration for the Short film competition of the 19th Festival International du Film d'Aubagne (March 19-24 2018) are open until October 2nd 2017.
All the short films competing must:
- be a first, second or third work
- justify an original work on the sound: either by an original score or a specific treatment of the sound (sound effects, voice, silence…). In this last case, please enclose a note of intention.
- have a running time of 30 minutes and less
- have been completed since September 2016
The competition is composed of three categories :
- Fiction
- Animation
- Documentary

Feature Film Competition
The registration for the Feature Film Competition of the 18th Festival International du Film d'Aubagne (March 19-24 2018) are open until November 13th 2017.
All the features competing must :
- be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd work
- have an original score
- have been completed since September 2016
- last more than 60 minutes
- be sent to Alcimé by November 13th 2017 - date of postmark is proof of despatch
The competition is composed of four categories :

- Experimental
