‘Hidden in the Peach Blossom Garden’ represents Taiwan at Annecy 2021.
tellretell's original animated feature film development project, Hidden in the Peach Blossom Garden, will be featured in the "Taiwan Animated by TAICCA" section of the Annecy 2021 Partners Pitches program.
The video pitches will be available online for Annecy participants from June 14th through June 19th, and then in the Annecy 2021 video library through the end of the year.
Hidden in the Peach Blossom Garden — also known as “Xun Meng Tao Hua Yuan” or 《尋夢桃花源》— is a sci-fi/fantasy adventure for tweens and young adult females.
In the dystopian future world of 2076, a teenaged girl struggling with the accidental death of her beloved father enters a subconscious AI simulation of a fantasy card game she used to play with him — “Hidden in the Peach Blossom Garden” — where the stakes are now life and death.
Hidden in the Peach Blossom Garden is an 85-minute 3D animated feature film, which is being developed using tellretell’s real-time approach to animation development and production.
