This short time-lapse video tracks the process of installing Maurizio Cattelan’s exhibition “All” at the Guggenheim in November 2011.
Note how the rhythm and texture of the sound parallels that of the moving imagery, and how time-lapse footage is edited to work in a cadence similar to that of stop-motion animation. And how the pulse of the music and imagery has the same broken yet rhythmic feel as the exhibited work - which is Cattelan's entire oeuvre hanging in a seemingly helter-skelter cascade from the Guggenheim rotunda.
