Headline News Kung Fu Panda Writers to Play in Candy Land

Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, the writers of the KUNG FU PANDA films, are set to write Universal's CANDY LAND adaptation, reports Heat Vision. Kevin Lima (ENCHANTED) will direct with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir producing. Christopher Chase is the exec producer.

The story follows the search for the missing king of Candy Land. The board game includes such characters as Princess Frostine, Gramma Nutt and bad guy Lord Licorice.
