Animha
Animha is a unique, non-profit, association of artists, writers, animators, and film makers located in the North of England. Animha is dedicated to independant film production and Animation Workshops for all.

ASIFA-Canada
Through its publications and activities, the organization seeks to foster communication amongst ASIFA members within Canada and internationally; inform its members about new developments in animation; educate the public and governmental bodies of the importance of animated filmmaking; and encourage participation by its members in animation festivals around the world. The ASIFA-Canada web site offers practical information on how to become a member, a discussion group, and a message board/guest book. It also presents its video project, "Canadian Animation on Video," a compilation video cassette of 15 films by independent animators, to be launched at the Ottawa Animation Film Festival in September 2000; and the Norman McLaren Heritage Award, with profiles of the past winners.

ASIFA Hollywood
ASIFA Hollywood is a California nonprofit organization established over twenty years ago to promote and encourage the art and craft of animation.

ASIFA India
ASIFA(Association Internationale Du film D'Animation), the only internationally recognized organisation for animation, has opened up it first ever national chapter in India. The national Indian chapter of ASIFA, is located in the Toonz Studios in Technopark, Trivandrum. Check for current newsletters and events.

The Toronto Animated Image Society
Formed in 1984,the Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS) is a group of animators and people interested in the art of animation who meet to watch animated films, hear presentations on the art of animation, promote the art of animation and socialize. TAIS has already held seminars on such topics as computer animation, layout, storyboarding and promoting and distributing animated films. They have also viewed reels of animated films from other countries; organized portfolio evaluation workshops for students; held exhibitions of artwork from animated films and socialized at picnics and parties.

ASIFA East
ASIFA EAST, based in New York City, is the Eastern U.S. chapter of ASIFA. ASIFA EAST holds free monthly screenings of animated films and publishes a monthly newsletter filled with information of interest to those in the East Coast animation community, as well as fans of the medium. ASIFA EAST also conducts the only annual animation festival held in the United States, a showcase for the most interesting independent and commercial animation being produced today.

ASIFA.NET is the official homepage of the "Association Internationale du Film d'Animation." ASIFA is an International non-profit association of animation filmmakers and other professionals and animation lovers collaborating across country borders.

Capital Children's Museum
Within its permanent exhibit,"Chuck Jones: An Animated Life," you can operate old-fashioned animation machines, create sound effects for a cartoon and jump into a working TV studio. Explore the process of animation from start to finish. Design a cartoon character and create your own animation. The Capital Children's Museum also offers two summer camps in cartoon and clay animation. Past work from the clay animation camp has gone on to win awards in national film festivals.

Harry Smith Archives

San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum
The Cartoon Art Museum is a 14 year-old non-profit museum in San Francisco, California, USA. The mission of the museum is to collect, preserve, study and display to the public significant examples of cartoon art. Read about this art museum in Animation World Magazine's September '99 issue.

Southampton Institute International Animation Research Archive (SIIARA)
This archive, based in Hampshire, in the south of England, holds thousands of examples of animation art and film within its collections. It seeks to participate in the academic study of animation and in the ongoing battle to conserve and preserve a vanishing animation heritage.
