Spielberg's Alien Pilot Adds Cast

Moon Bloodgood, Jessy Schram, Seychelle Gabriel and Maxim Knight have joined the cast of Steven Spielberg's untitled alien invasion pilot for TNT, per THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, joining already-announced star Noah Wyle.

The pilot, written by Robert Rodat and directed by Carl Franklin, follows a group of human survivors in the aftermath of an alien invasion that's wiped out most of the population. Wyle will play the leader of a ragtag group of soldiers struggling against the occupying alien force. The newly-announced actors will be members of that group.

Kunis Added to Aronofsky's Black Swan

Actress Mila Kunis is in discussions to star opposite Natalie Portman in Darren Aronofsky's supernatural drama BLACK SWAN, reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The film follows a talented ballerina (Portman) in the New York City Ballet who is tormented by a rival (Kunis) who might or might not be a figment of her imagination. Kunis appeared at last weekend's Comic-Con in San Diego to promote THE BOOK OF ELI with Denzel Washington, as well as her upcoming turns in comedy EXTRACT with Ben Affleck and her voice role on FOX's FAMILY GUY.

ABC Set to Auction off Lost Props

ABC is auctioning off small props like Charlie's guitar, Locke's hunting knife, Sawyer's letter to the man who destroyed his family and Hurley's winning Lotto ticket. A sneak peek of all the items will be at Comic-Con this weekend.

The items will be auctioned by Profiles in History, which has done memorabilia auctions for Sci Fi's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and STAR WARS in the past.

Fox 2000 has tapped Zachary Gordon to play the title role in DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, per THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Chloe Moretz is in negotiations for the female lead in the adaptation of Jeff Kinney's illustrated novels.

Thor Freudenthal is set to direct. Nina Jacobson is producing under her Color Force banner with Brad Simpson. The story follows a smart-aleck middle-school kid during the course of an academic year. Moretz would play an intense student with a wry sense of humor. Rachel Harris will play Gordon's mother.

Director/Writer Chosen for Radical's Abattoir Film

Darren Lynn Bousman has been hired by Radical Pictures to write and direct ABATTOIR, per VARIETY.

Radical's publishing arm is turning the property into a graphic novel, based on the concept by Bousman and writing/producing partner Michael Peterson. Artwork for the novel is set to be unveiled at Comic-Con.

Barry Levine of Radical will produce with Bousman with Jess Berger to exec produce. Radical is financing the film through its discretionary fund.
