	JOEY IN IRELAND   BACKGROUND This is Joey as he appeared in "Animagic," a cross-border film animated by students from northern and southern Ireland. The film's subject is about the rich cultural heritage of Ireland, be it Irish or British, Protestant or Catholic, and mythic or real. Composition and staging are important. Even though this is one drawing, I placed Joey where he would "read" on the island.
