Rick Dolishny

Rick is a Toronto based video editor, 3D animator and special effects compositor currently working for The Second City broadcast division. Rick is also the Director of the Toronto Digital Image Festival, a popular 3D animation event held since 1994, and serves on the Board of the Toronto Animated Image Society (Secretary).

Rick's professional interests are diverse, from 3D and 2D computer animation, to theatrical and concert stage lighting, to sound design for film. Recently, he produced the short live-action film, "Incoming!", commissioned by TDIF to open the 2000 event, which included among other things a computer generated "Moose in the City", three Boeing Chinook helecopters careening down Bloor Street, and a 400 foot tall lego model of the TDIF logo landing on the roof of the Bloor Cinema!

Rick enjoys biking and recently crossed Michigan over a seven day tour, and completed a mountain bike tour of New Zealand in 1995.
