LucasArts and BioWare's next venture will be STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC, a story-driven massively multiplayer online PC game set in the timeframe of the STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC franchise.
STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC, being developed and published by BioWare and LucasArts, will feature immersive storytelling, dynamic combat and intelligent companion characters.

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS puts a new shine on a very recognizable part of STAR WARS lore as the Y-wing bombers make their debut in "Shadow of Malevolence," a new episode of the animated series premiering at 9 p.m. Friday, October 10, on Cartoon Network.
In the second of a three-episode arc, "Destroy Malevolence" finds Anakin Skywalker, his Padawan Ahsoka Tano and Jedi Master Plo Koon utilizing long-range Y-wing bombers to lead a bold strike on General Grievous' warship, the Malevolence, and its destructive ion cannon.
Starting Saturday, each week's new episode of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS will be available at the iTunes Store (www.iTunes.com) for $1.99 an episode, or $39.99 for a season pass to all 22 episodes. Both "Ambush" and "Rising Malevolence," which air tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network, will be available starting Saturday. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners can now unleash the Force in the comfort of their own homes by downloading the demo of STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED from Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.
The demo gives players a taste of one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility, under siege by a Jedi General named Rahm Kota. The Secret Apprentice has been sent by Darth Vader to hunt down and destroy the General, but is also told that, in order to remain a secret, he is to leave no witnesses.
The epic battles of the Clone Wars were briefly mentioned back in 1977 in STAR WARS: EPISODE IV -- A NEW HOPE, and now that conflict may end up with more screen time than anything else in the STAR WARS saga. This summer, McDonald's ventures into a galaxy far, far away for the first time ever. McDonald's and Lucasfilm Ltd. are teaming up to create a highly anticipated Happy Meal program, which will be available for a four-week period (August 15-September 11). THE ASSOCIATED PRESS reports that the long-awaited STAR TREK ONLINE game is nearing release.
Jack Emmert, Cryptic Studios' Chief Creative Officer said the player starts the game as the captain of a small Starfleet or Klingon Empire ship, customizing characters from pre-existing STAR TREK species -- from Klingons to Gorn -- or create a new alien race. Players increase in rank and gain larger vessels and more crew members as they progress.
LeapFrog Enterprises announced two new educational game titles based on Lucasfilm's upcoming STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS and one game based on the summer blockbuster INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL.

New York International Children's Film Festival presents a special advance screening of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, an exciting new addition to the STAR WARS universe and the first animated feature film from Lucasfilm. The U.S. premiere of the new CG-animated feature film STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS will be held Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Egyptian Theatre, where STAR WARS: EPISODE V THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK debuted 28 years ago.
The historic Egyptian Theatre is also the home of the American Cinematheque, and all proceeds raised from the premiere of Lucasfilm Animation's first theatrical release will benefit the non-profit organization and its efforts to celebrate the moving picture in all of its forms. The Egyptian was also the home of the very first Hollywood movie premiere, in 1922.

DC Comics will release a prequel to upcoming TV show FRINGE, according to USA TODAY. FRINGE, from J.J. Abrams (ALIAS, LOST, CLOVERFIELD, upcoming STAR TREK) is set to start airing this fall on Fox.
Writers and artists are still being hired, but DC will release the comic on August 27, two weeks before the two-hour premiere on September 9.

On Thursday, May 8th, five Turner networks will broadcast the world-premiere trailer for STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. At 7:58 p.m. in all U.S. time zones, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, and Boomerang will debut two-minute preview of the animated adventure from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation.
