Headline News Star Trek DVD/Blu-ray to be Futuristic

Paramount Home Ent. will release J.J. Abrams' STAR TREK on DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 17, 2009. The title will be released in a single-disc DVD, two-disc DVD and three-disc Blu-ray release. The title will be the first with special package where owners can unlock an interactive hologram tour of the U.S.S. Enterprise on the packaging by holding it in front of a standard Webcam. The tour will appear on the computer screen where users can visit five cabins of the starship and even shoot villains on the ship's deck.

Headline News Fox Recycles Used Guys

After pulling the plug on the project three years ago, Fox is reinventing the sci-fi comedy USED GUYS, according to VARIETY. Ben Stiller is still attached as star and produce, but Jim Carrey is out and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE directing team of Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton are set to replace Jay Roach. In addition, Reese Witherspoon is in talks to star as well.

The story follows two pleasure clones that have run out of their usefulness.
