The Descent Director on Predators

Bloody-Disgusting.com reports that THE DESCENT's Neil Marshall is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to direct the PREDATOR prequel, PREDATORS. Robert Rodriguez is producing the franchise reboot via his Trouble Maker Studios. Fox wants to have the film in theaters on July 9, 2010.

Fox Thinking Alien Reboot

BLOODY-DISGUSTING.com broke the news last night that 20th Century Fox is rumored to be working on a reboot of the ALIEN franchise, perhaps an origins story rather than a remake.

Michael Costigan, Ridley Scott and Tony Scott are producing with Carl Rinsch to direct. Rinsch is a commercials and music video director who has worked with Scott Free Productions.

ReBoot Storyline, Writers Chosen by Fans

Zeros 2 Heroes, in conjunction with Rainmaker Animation, announced a first for social networking when it revealed that fans of REBOOT have chosen who will reshape the storyline of the classic animated TV property that originally aired on ABC, YTV and Cartoon Network. In an unprecedented competition, REBOOT fans selected the plotline that they want to see developed into a web comic book property. This marks the first step in re-launching the property in advance of Rainmaker's upcoming trilogy of REBOOT theatrical feature films.

Kids animation producer-distributor TV-Loonland will present a new slate of animation programming at MIP-TV 2002. Leading the Loonland catalogue is the launch of REBOOT - SEASON IV. Animated by Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. REBOOT was the first ever half-hour computer animated TV series produced. Originally seen on North American television in September 1994 on YTV (Canada) and on ABC Television (USA), the series remains one of YTV's top-rated programs and can be seen in the daily Toonami block on the Cartoon Network.

Infogrames Wins Global License To Develop Reboot Games

Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. has licensed its popular REBOOT animation series to Infogrames, Inc., for development on various interactive game platforms. The multi-year licensing agreement was negotiated by licensing and merchandising veteran Joy Tashjian, president of Joy Tashjian Marketing Group, the exclusive representative for Mainframe's properties, who is also contributing to Mainframe's expansion into the consumer products area through a recently formed strategic alliance.

First Three Episodes Of Reboot Glide Onto VHS & DVD

ADV Films is releasing the first three episodes of the first 3D animated TV series REBOOT on VHS and DVD. Produced by Mainframe Entertainment, REBOOT chronicles the adventures of Bob and his friends as they surf cyberspace in search of their missing friend. The release will retail for US$14.95 VHS and $24.98 DVD. Currently, REBOOT airs on Cartoon Network in their Toonami programming block.

The Return Of ReBoot To TV

Mainframe Entertainment is set to produce two new TV movies based on the characters from their TV series REBOOT. The two telepics are being produced in partnership with Canadian cable broadcaster YTV Canada, Inc. for broadcast in the Spring and Fall of 2001. REBOOT was the first ever half-hour computer animated TV series produced in the world. REBOOT joins Cartoon Network lineup

Cartoon Networks afternoon programming block Toonami will start airing the CG-animated show, REBOOT, as part of its daily Monday-Friday line-up, from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m., starting March 15. The show, which was the first entirely computer-generated cartoon, is produced by Vancouver, Canada-based Mainframe Entertainment.
