NVIDIA Demonstrates Alignment With Microsoft at WinHEC

NVIDIA Corp. announced that it is a sponsor at WinHEC, Microsofts annual Windows Hardware Engineering Conference, from April 25-27, in Seattle, Washington.

"NVIDIA's participation in WinHEC is important to Microsoft because of the growing role of powerful graphics and 64-bit platforms to support key initiatives including 'Longhorn' and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition," said Brian Marr, senior product manager of Windows at Microsoft Corp. Creative Media has announced multiple deals including a co-development deal with Bob Thompsons Good Story Prods. as well as new series announcements for LITTLE ROBOTS and HIPSTER & JACK.

Classic Media Gets Major Monetary Backing

Classic Media Inc. announced that Spectrum Equity Investors, along with existing investors led by Pegasus Capital Advisors, have agreed to recapitalize Classic to fund future growth and acquisitions. Under the terms of the recapitalization, Spectrum has invested $75 million of equity and arranged a new $100 million senior debt facility for Classic, provided by banks led by J.P. Morgan. Spectrum Equity will become majority owner and join the Classic Media board along with the existing investors and management, which includes Random House Ventures.

Legend Of Frosty The Snowman Narrated by Burt Reynolds

This fall, Classic Media will release on DVD the all new animated feature, THE LEGEND OF FROSTY THE SNOWMAN. Burt Reynolds narrates the movie and sings the beloved title song. In addition, the film also stars Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Doug Schwalbe, head of worldwide distribution at Classic Media, the New York-based entertainment company that is also home to LASSIE, THE LONE RANGER and the recently completed animated feature, PETER COTTONTAIL, THE MOVIE, will be representing the movie at MIP-TV in Cannes.
