Nick's Penguins is Basic Cable's # 1 Kids' Show with Total Viewers for the Week

Nickelodeon's hit animated series, THE PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR (Sunday, June 14, 10 a.m. ET/PT) averaged 3.7 million total viewers (P2+) and ranked as the week's top kids' show with P2+ on all of basic cable with the repeat performance of "The Hidden/Kingdom Come". The Penguins Saturday morning play ("Little Zoo Coupe/All Choked Up", June 13, 10 a.m. ET/PT) ranked as the number-one telecast for the week with kids 2-11 (5.8/2.0 million, +23%) on broadcast and cable TV.

Total Drama Action Premieres as Most-Watched on All TV Among Kids

Animagic, Fremantle Finalize Distribution Deal for Animated Feature Film

Carpinteria, CA (June 3, 2009) Animation producer Animagic Entertainment announced today that it has reached an agreement with Fremantle Corporation for worldwide distribution of its BALLOONATIKS full-length, feature film project, which is currently in pre-production. Additionally, Fremantle Corporation is in discussion with Animagic to distribute 26 half-hour BALLOONATIKS CGI television series episodes, which are also currently in pre-production for the 2010 season.

Five Disney Channels Launching in Central, Eastern Europe

The Walt Disney Company today announced that it will re-brand its Jetix channels in five Central and Eastern European countries to become Disney Channel, the world's leading kids TV brand. Kid-driven, family inclusive Disney Channel is set to launch later this year in Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria, increasing the channel's distribution to 12 million households in the CEE region. Disney Channel will be localised for the market with programming dubbed in local languages.

Nick's iCarly Hits Another All-Time High -- Proves More Popular than NBA

Sneak Preview of Pixar's UP This Saturday

During Buttnumbathon this year, one of the standout favorites was 40 unfinished minutes from the new opus UP from the geniuses at Pixar. Even with temporary still images and incompletely rendered animation, the entire audience knew that this was a classic in the making.

Apparently, so did the folks at the Cannes Film Festival. The world premiere of the film is at Cannes on May 13. UP was chosen to be the opening film of the festival, the first ever animated film to be awarded that honor.

Penguins off to a Quick Start

Nickelodeon's newest hit, THE PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR, was the number-one kids' show for the week and placed number three on all of basic cable with total viewers (behind only USA's WWE ENTERTAINMENT and NCIS).

Conservation International Partners with Kango on Tales 4 Tomorrow

Conservation International entered into a three-year partnership with Kango on the TALES 4 TOMORROW (T4T) brand, which combines animal conservation with games for kids in an online virtual world.
