Post House Rushes Lead The Way In The Future Of Grading

London-based post house Rushes has invested in its telecine capabilities with the acquisition of a da Vinci Systems Resolve R250 digital mastering suite with Impresario control interface for grading and DI finishing.

Rushes' team of colourists, lead by Adrian Seery have the power to control color with the Resolve system, which brings a whole new set of grading and post production tools to the grading work flow. This means increased speed of production and greater flexibility throughout the grading process.

Autodesk Announces Lustre 2009 Digital Color Grading System

Autodesk, Inc. has announced the Autodesk Lustre 2009 digital color grading system and Autodesk Incinerator 2009, the real-time system accelerator for Lustre. The Lustre system has helped shape the look of hundreds of films and TV series, including: INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, IRON MAN, CASUALTY, PLANET EARTH and GALAPAGOS. Lustre 2009 will be showcased at Autodesk booth #7-D21 during the International Broadcasters Convention 2008 in Amsterdam's RAI Convention Center, September 12-16.

Iridas Offers SpeedGrade DI 2007

Iridas has released SpeedGrade DI 2007. The high-end color grading and film finishing application offers a long list of new features and enhancements including the optional DualStream stereoscopic module for true 3-D color grading, and realtime RAW for playback and grading of unrendered RAW footage. Iridas will present SpeedGrade DI 2007 at the Ciprico booth (7.907) at IBC (Sept. 7-11) in Amsterdam. SpeedGrade DI 2007 is immediately available from Iridas or through its reseller network.
