An official release from Disney is forthcoming, but THE DIGITAL BITS has more information on the November 18 DVD and Blu-ray release of animated hit WALL-E.
Universal Pictures International Ent. will release THE INCREDIBLE HULK on DVD and Blu-ray on October 13, marking the studio's first international day-and-date wide debut of a Blu-ray new release feature film.
The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the U.S. on October 21.
From Marvel Studios, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, starring Edward Norton, Tim Roth and Liv Tyler has earned $250 million in worldwide box office. Bonus features on the Blu-ray will include the U-Control application and interactive features via BD-Live.
WALL-E will be released on DVD and Blu-ray from Walt Disney Studios Home Ent. on November 18, according to BLU-RAY.com.
Details are forthcoming, but the release will have BD-Live capability and will be a two-disc set. It will also contain a digital copy of the film via the "Disney File." FINDING NEMO was supposed to be released on Blu-ray with WALL-E, but it has been delayed until 2009. No word on what Pixar catalog title will replace it.
LG Electronics and Netflix announced plans for the first Blu-ray disc player that will have the added benefit of being able to instantly stream a growing library of movies and TV episodes from Netflix directly to the TV.
