Die Animationsschule "SHAR" wurde im April 1993 auf Initiative einer Gruppe prominenter russischer Animationsregisseure gegründet. Yuri Norstein, Fjodor Chitruk, Andrey Khrjanovsky, Edward Nazarov: "SHAR" wird vom Russischen Filmkomitee, das zu den Teilhaber des Studios gehört, unterstützt.

"SHAR" bietet an:

1. Professionelle Ausbildung von Trickfilmzeichnern und Regisseuren für Zeichentrick- und Puppenfilme. Regelmäßige und individuelle Ausbildungsprogramme. Wahlweise Ausbildungszeiten - von 3 Monaten bis zu 2 Jahren.
2. Produktion von Zeichentrickfilmen. Alle eingereichten Ideen und Manuskripte werden von der künstlerischen Kommission von "SHAR" unter Vorsitz von Andrey Khrjanovsky geprüft. Das Studio setzt vorrangig auf kreative Arbeiten von hohem künstlerischem Wert wie z.B.: "Libido of Benjamin" von Ivan Maximov. "In low spirits" von Dmitry Naumov, "The bath-house of Nyura" von Oksana Tscherkassova and "Grey-bearded lion" von Andrey Khrjanovsky...
3. Werbung (Animation, Computergrafik und Poster-Herstellung)
4. kurzfristige Workshops
5. Beratung über verschiedene Aspekte der Zeichentrickfilmproduktion vom Buch bis zur Fertigstellung

The Animation School "SHAR" was established in April 1993 as an initiative of a group of prominent Russian animation directors: Yuri Norstein, Fjodor Chitruk, Andrey Khrjanovsky, Edward Nazarov. "SHAR" is supported by Russian Cinema Committee which is among the share-holder of the studio.

Basic spheres of "SHAR" activity:

1. Professional training of animators and directors in cartoon and puppet films. Regular and individual training programmes. Optional training terms - from 3 months to 2 years.
2. Animation production. All submitted ideas and scripts are examined by the Artistic Board of "SHAR" headed by Andrey Khrjanovsky. The studio recognise among its priorities creation of highly artistic works: "Libido of Benjamin" by Ivan Maximov, "In low spirits" by Dmitry Naumov, "The bath-house of Nyura" by Oksana Tscherkassova And "Grey-bearded lion" by Andrej Khrjanovsky,...
3. Advertising services (animation, computer graphic and postures production).
4. Short-terms workshop realization.
5. Consultation on different aspects of animation production - from script to editing.
