Die Auswahl stellt Arbeiten auf Video vor, die vom Centre International de Création Vidéo de Montbéliard Belfort produziert wurden. 1990 gegründet, widmet sich das CICV den vielfältigen Spielarten der Videoproduktion: Essayvideo, Videokunst, Videoinstallation, Videojournal, Tanzvideo, Dokumentarvideo ...
Das Zentrum bietet Künstlern an, als "Artist in Residence" unter optimalen Bedingungen Projekte mit dem Medium Video zu realisieren. Die hier präsentierten Arbeiten verbinden die Essayform mit avancierten Animationstechniken.

The selection presents works on video produced by the Centre International de Création de Montbéliard Belfort. Established in 1990, the CICV is devoting its attention to the diverse varieties of video production: essay video, video art, video installation, video journal, dance video, documentary video ...
The centre offers the artists to realize projects with the medium video under optimum conditions and as "artist in residence". The works presented here connect the essay form with advanced animation techniques.

Trailer für eine hypothetische virtuelle Serie über eine ungewisse Zukunft. Der Verlust des Gedächtnisses erzeugt einen Informationsverlust, der gemeinsam mit dem Pfeil des Zenon an elektronischen Landschaften entlangschlendert, dem Reich des Leeren zu.

Trailer for a hypothetical virtual series on an uncertain future. The loss of the memory causes a loss of information which, together with the arrow of Zenon strolls along electronic landscapes, towards the land of emptiness.

Genetics and its code system are an alternative to the numerical language of the 20th century. Consisting of both systems - numerical and genetical - the film initiates an investigation into the compatibility of the two codes.

Seduction of a Cyborg

Ein junges Mädchen, das gut hören, aber nicht sehen kann, unterzieht sich einer Laser-Penetration; es wird von reproduzierten Bildern verführt und darunter leidet das Immunsystem des Körpers; das Mädchen erlebt die Korrumpierung der Geschichte, als es sich seinem Schicksal ergibt.

A young girl with acute hearing but unable to see submits to laser penetration: as she becomes seduced by replicated images her body´s immune system suffers, she witnesses the pollution of history as she succumbs to her fate.
