I have a Tiger is a story of imagination, friendship, tolerance and caring about people and animals. In the world of children, just about everything is possible: a crocodile in the bathtub, a tiger under the bed and invisible friends.

Grundlage für The Turnip ist ein Volksmärchen, das die Geschichte einer seltsamen weißen Rübe und des Bauern, der sie ernten will, erzählt.Ein Kleinbauer läßt auf dem Feld weiße Rüben wachsen, um sie zu ernten. Eine Rübe wächst und wächst, der Mann kann sie unmöglich allein ernten. Er muß Hilfe holen.

The Turnip is based on a folk tale telling a story of a strange turnip and its harvesters.
A peasant goes to a field to grow and harvest turnips. One turnip grows bigger and bigger and the man is unable to lift the turnip alone. He must get help.

The most exciting moment of the year is at hand: It is Easter Night and it also happens to be the night of the "birthday" party of the little with Mimosa. Her mother, however, has such a terrible memory that she cannot remember how old Mimosa is now.
Der aufregendste Augenblick des Jahres steht bevor: es ist Ostersonntagabend und gleichzeitig der Abend der "Geburtstags" Party der kleinen Mimosa. Ihre Mutter hat so ein schreckliches Gedächtnis, daß sie sich nicht daran erinnern kann, wie alt Mimosa ist.

The hen has her spirits high and is singing a tune when she goes to the woods to make a bath whisk, and in the meanwhile the rooster is heating the sauna.

Die Henne ist guter Laune und singt ein Lied auf dem Weg in den Wald, um Zweige für eine Birkenrute zu sammeln, während der Hahn die Sauna heizt.

Eines abends findet sie ein enorm großes Ei, das summend um ihren Tisch taumelt. Heraus kommt ein fremdartiger, hungriger Vogel, der sogar den Versuch macht, die Bücher zu fressen...

Our freaky, dusty heroine is spending her life alone with dead books in this house foll of spying neighbours.
But one evening she finds an enormous big egg bumbling and humming at her table. Out comes a strange, hungry young bird, who is even trying to eat the books...
