Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 WEEK LATER) has inked a deal to direct Relativity Media and Apaches Ent.'s remake of THE CROW, reports Variety. Based on James O'Barr's comics, Fresnadillo will work with a yet-to-be-hired writer on the script.

The story follows Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to hunt down the men who murder him and his wife.
