Worked with Sandro at MTV back in the early flash days, super talented. All the best and congrats Sandro!
Having been to Transylvania myself, I found this book an amusing read!
Let me know if there are any lessons on CD or DVD on software like ToonBoonPro or Flash JUST FOR 2D animation?
Or is it possible to have a tutor/teacher teach? The instructions accompanying ToonBoom are so widely detouring into areas of no interest to me; too many choices for one simple action; I just want to have a linear lesson from scanning drawings, thru coloring and compositing, laying down music and dialog, to final master on DVD.
Please let me know if such a help exists, thank you!
It was a brave move for a studio like Disney to step a little outside it's comfort zone and produce a product clearly aimed at a slightly older age group.
I hope this is the first of many, as I'm sure there's a growing audience of DISNEY devotees, of a certain age group, that would be more than happy to visit a cinema ..without the kids!
All of the VFX were outsourced to companies in other countries! All for a politically tinged "Diehard"! I hope this particular exploitation makes NO money. It is interesting to see so many good actors and crew commit financial suicide simultanously. The strength of our system lies in the fact that they can do this & fail. I can't imagine a project like this being greenlit in any of the countries that the VFX were farmed out to.
welcome back ralph, and thank you for telling it how it is. You are the guy who can put animation on its feet again with creativity.
Wow.... Crappy Cars rip-off cheap-quels... *and* Dane Cook? Can I pre-order my tickets now? I"m sure this is going to be lined up around the block.
I guess every sinking ship needs a Captain huh? The last thing we'll see is that Pirate Flag before the whole thing goes under water....
oh, max and ruby is one of my daughter's farivote shows karon d naman kau sya ka kita ug TV kay skul naman sa una kada adlaw ehehehe!mau pamo mami da wapa me kita ani ug live!thanks for joining BPC!
Looks interesting. I've been enjioyng the new Capt. America The James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes character is much more interesting than the original Steve Rogers character. Hopefully, Marvel has finally discarded that horrendous "Nomad" second feature in the back of the Capt. America comic, though.
I disagree with Ulbrick's assessment of Clotiaux
DD is hurting if they chose Clotiaux for that role.
Great interview. Good to know Ralph Bakshi ideals and influence are still relevant. All the best to you and your future endeavors.
I'm really excited about this forthcoming movie. It just has something special. OK, we've all seen the CG styling and characterisation before, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. This WORKS!! and I'm sure will run and run.
I and probably a lot of people were probably sad to agree with you when we finally saw the most complete original version of the film in bootleg form. At least with "Arabian Knights" we could blame Mirimax for messing it up but after seeing the original, I realized Williams had a gigantic polished turd all along. Oh well. I'm still grateful to the guy for keeping 2D animation alive.
SOOOOOO NOT TURE I'm an 11 year old and every saturday morning I get up and watch tv! ITS MY FAVORITE THING ON sATURDAY MORNING!!!
You rock! Thanks very very very very very very very very very very etc x infinity + 1 much!
Should be a very interesting movie. Will be sure to go and see it
"So much for Richard Williams"
If you're counting him out, then you haven't been paying attention.
