International Animation Day

Uploaded Image: internatinalAnimationDaysm.jpg
Join us for International Animation Day in the QAS/Emedia screening room October 28 @ 7:00pm for a celebration of animation from around the word!

Bring your favorite short international animation(s) or pick one out from the QAS library. Here is the fun part, bring food that fits with the animation. ie: if you bring French animation, you may also bring some french cuisine. So join us for some delicious fun.

A quick bite of history: On 28th of October 1892, Emile Reynaud presented his "Theatre Optique" in the Musée Grévin in Paris. It was the first public screening of animation with a cinematographic apparatus (using hand-painted sequences on celluloid strips).

Admission is FREE (donation suggested)
