SAVING PRIVATE RYAN scribe Robert Rodat is set to write the feature adaptation of videogame WORLD OF WARCRAFT, reports VARIETY [1]. Sam Raimi is attached to direct. Production plans have Raimi filming WARCRAFT after SPIDER-MAN 4 wraps next year.
Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Ent. will produce with Warner Bros. co-funding and distributing the flick. Atlas' Charles Roven and Alex Gartner, Legendary CEO Thomas Tull and CCO Jon Jashni, Raimi and Joshua Donen are the producers.
