REALVIZ announced details for their forthcoming World Image-Processing Tour, which opens in London on May 22, and continues through June, taking in key cities across Europe, the U.S. and Canada. During the tour, the company will be unveiling their latest technology releases, including version 5.6 of Stitcher Unlimited, available this week, which introduces Mac Universal and HDR capabilities for the very first time, as well as REALVIZ VTour 1.2 HDR and REALVIZ Movimento, among the most advanced video-based motion capture software on the market today.
Intended for all photographers, graphic artists, designers, architects, vfx supervisors or CG technical directors looking for the latest tools to maximize their creativity and productivity, the seminars begin in London (May 22), then move on to Paris (May 23), Berlin (June 7), New York (June 12), Montreal (June 14), San Francisco (June 18) and Los Angeles (June 20). Each event begins at 6:00 pm, and includes a free buffet and drinks.
REALVIZ Stitcher Unlimited is a photo stitching and image assembling software for the creation of professional-level panoramas and 360-degree virtual tours. Starting from digital images, the software's powerful central automatic stitching engine enables a diverse range of users to create high-quality panoramas and virtual tours. Version 5.6 of Stitcher Unlimited now has full HDR compatibility for the very first time, enabling users to load, stitch and save HDR (High Dynamic Range) images. With HDR imaging, users are able to create projects, which combine under- and over-exposed areas in the same harmonious panorama.
REALVIZ VTour 1.2 HDR is the only software available today for the creation of 3D HDR scenes, starting from digital snapshots and panoramas. For the first time ever, users will be able to add depth information to their environment maps to dynamically light their 3D models.
The REALVIZ HDR Imaging Studio, available for PC from late May 2007, combines Stitcher Unlimited 5.6, VTour 1.2 HDR and Photomatix Pro.
REALVIZ Movimento was unveiled at SIGGRAPH 2006 in Boston, and offers the unique capability to capture the motion of any non-rigid object (humans, animals) in post-production, from synchronized image sequences with total flexibility, starting from two cameras to as many as required. Cameras can be fixed or moving, and of different frame rates and definitions.
REALVIZ Movimento expands the boundaries of the traditional motion capture studio by offering the ability to take the motion capture process beyond the studio to where the action is. Movimento offers users a complete and flexible solution for facial, hand, arm and full-body motion capture across a wide range of applications, from special effects, biomechanical research, sports science, orthopedics and engineering to behavioral analysis.
During the tour, the REALVIZ team will make a complete demonstration with a live capture, using a four-camera Movimento solution.
