files/pictures/picture-35.jpgThe Hollywood Film Festival's Board of Advisors has announced the nominees for the 2004 "Hollywood Film Awards" competition. The announcement was made today in Hollywood by Carlos de Abreu, founder/exec director of the Hollywood Film Festival.
"This year's Hollywood Film Festival continues its tradition of honoring the very best talent within our community. It is a celebration of all aspects of Hollywood filmmaking and the artists who help to create its lasting legacy on our culture," festival co-chair Paula Wagner said.
The "Hollywood MOVIE OF THE YEAR Awards" presented by ETOnline.com and Yahoo Movies cover the public's favorites for the year.

The favorite movie of the year will be selected by the public at large at the Yahoo Movies and ETOnline.com Website, and the two winners for the World and European awards will be selected from the 10 nominees for each award. A blue ribbon selection committee of judges from around the world selected the nominated films. The awards will be bestowed as part of the Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony on Oct. 18, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The festival will also present honors to Dean Robert Rosen of the UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television, Newmarket film founder Bob Berney, producer Mel Gibson, director Michael Mann, actor John Travolta, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, actress Annette Bening, actor Jamie Foxx, actress Keira Knightley, director Zach Braff, screenwriter John Logan, cinematographer Caleb Deschanel, editor Sally Menke, composer Thomas Newman, visual effects artist John Dykstra, costume designer Albert Wolsky, production designer Stuart Craig, make-up artist Ve Neill and casting director Debra Zane.
