Vinton Studios Hires Book Expert to Find New Properties
Vinton Studios has signed Oxford-based publisher Fiona Kenshole research the international book market for potential film properties, reports VARIETY. Previously, Kenshole was publishing director of Oxford University Press Children's Books, where she launched the Oxford University Press paperback and Modern Classics lists and oversaw a rebranding of its children's dictionaries.
Her resume includes time at Hodder Children's Books, where she was deputy managing director, and HarperCollins, where she served as editorial director. Among the titles she's launched are Lucy Daniels' ANIMAL ARK, which has sold more than 7 million books worldwide. She also published the international comicbook ASTERIX.
Vinton Studios recently purchased film rights to Neil Gaiman's CORALINE to be adapted and directed by Vinton's supervising director, Henry Selick.
