THQ Powers Up Jimmy Neutron Video Games
THQ Inc. and Nickelodeon have released two new video games based on the popular Nickelodeon property Jimmy Neutron. JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS for PlayStation2 and THE ADVENTURES OF JIMMY NEUTRON VS. JIMMY NEGATRON for Game Boy Advance are now available at retail outlets nationwide. The PlayStation 2 version is based on the digitally animated motion picture, JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS, while the Game Boy Advance version is based on the Nickelodeon television series. In JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS for PlayStation 2, players take on the role of Jimmy with his robot dog Goddard at his side. They adventure through movie-inspired environments including the Retroland Amusement Park and Jimmy's house. Players can choose from different gadgets, such as an inflat-o-ray and a shrink ray in a quest to save the world and rescue the parents of Retroville from the evil Yokians. In THE ADVENTURES OF JIMMY NEUTRON VS. JIMMY NEGATRON for Game Boy Advance, Jimmy has been warped into an alternate dimension and his nemesis, Jimmy Negatron, has replaced him in the real world of Retroville. The player must help Jimmy Neutron out-smart Jimmy Negatron to escape his bizarre dimension using science, strategy, technology, logic, offbeat puzzle solutions and inventions. Both games are rated "E" for Everyone.
