German distributor peppermint and U.S. animation studio Wild Brain have entered into a strategic partnership for Asia and the U.S. Under the terms of the deal, peppermint will distribute Wild Brain's Flash animation catalogue throughout Asia, while Wild Brain will represent peppermints animation catalogue under the pepperkids label for TV distribution, home video and DVD, licensing, publishing and merchandising throughout the U.S. Also while at MIPCOM, peppermint sold their event television miniseries CORTO MALTESE, based on Italian artist Hugo Pratts comic of the same name, to Frances TFI. Aditionally, peppermints pepperkids brand will be available in India via Intelivisions Splash network. The childrens cable and satellite channel will feature pepperkids extensive catalog as a daily branded segment. Peppermint has also signed a first time distribution deal with German broadcaster RTL II.
